I have now returned, and had a wonderful time on the cruise. I went parasailing, waverunning, swam with dolphins, petted stingrays, rode horses in the sea, and snorkeled over North America's only living corral reef! I also polished off two must-read books: George Lakoff's "Don't think of an Elephant!" and Barack Obama's "Dreams from my Father." Now that I'm home, I'm anxious to get back in the mix. Which is good, since school starts next Tuesday.
Also over the break, I heard back from TFA. I have been placed in New York City, teaching English as a Second Language. I still have a little time to decide, and a lot to think about in the meanwhile...more to come!
